The Ethics of Multitasking

Everyone today tries to multitask but the truth is it does not prove to be working well for most people.  In this article the ethics of multitasking is discussed.  In the views discussed in this article it leads me to think that multitasking is unethical.  When you try to do more than one task at a time your work suffers.  Instead of focusing your attention on one task your attention is split between several tasks.  If you compare the work you could produce by only working on one task at a time to the work you produce through multitasking you will notice that the quality of work produced while doing one task at a time is far better quality.  So as for the issue of the ethics of multitasking I would consider it unethical to multitask.  For the only reason of quality of work produced while not multitasking.
