Overweight? Blame the Internet

Overweight? Blame the Internet

Too much time online can expand your waistline, a new study shows

This is completely true. Now a days you can sit in the comfort of your own home and do everything on the computer. You can order groceries, go shopping, play games, connect with friends and family, order food for dinner, basically you can do anything on the internet. It is very sad that some people lead lives that consist of sitting on the computer for the majority of your day. The concept of the whole Wii video game system is very smart because this consists of engaging in physical activity while playing games. Our country has more people who are overweight because of our lifestyle and eating habits. People need to designate time in their schedules to engage in some sort of physical activity.

I totally agree with this. People just are plain lazy these days. I however love wii fitness and thing it was a great idea. Rather than taking things away from us we can still do the things we love but in a fun manner. You’re still exercising but you’re still playing a game. Everyone is an individual and can do things to help themselves for once. That’s everyone’s problem, they depend on everyone else rather than taking care of themselves. I work at a candy store and sell candy to overweight people. That’s my job even though I feel bad sometimes because I know they should not be eating the stuff. It all in everyone’s individual lifestyles to make sure they are exercise and eating healthy. I do believe that technology has turned us away from that. Technology just made things easier for everyone so then everyone became lazy.

I agree with this article. I think that the internet has lead to so many overweight people in our country. Especially with all the video games that keep coming out, the younger generation keeps getting bigger. When Wii introduced the Wii fit I thought it was a great idea to somehow get people to do some sort of physical activity while they play the game. It can really help our generation that is so electronic-based to become more fit and healthier.
