California man indicted on charge of killing daughter
This article is about a man who killed his daughter 3 years ago by shooting and suffocating his 21 year old daughter. How could you kill anyone, better yet how could you kill your daughter. I know that children can be very disrespectful and unruly at times, but what can a child do so bad as to make a parent shoot and suffocate them? This is morally and ethically wrong, and for him to hide the body for 3 years is just brutal. This man had no heart. How can a person with a heart even do anything as extreme as this? He should be tried and given life in prison for taking the life of his 21 year old daughter.
Doctor Shot to death at rural Kentucky clinic
This article is about a disgruntled patient, Combs, that walked into a doctors, Sandlins’ office on Tuesday and shot and killed his doctor. Combs had been a patient of Sandlin’s earlier in the day, returned with a gun and fired at the 57-year-old doctor. Combs came to the clinic, saw Sandlin in the doctor’s treating area, which is separate from the waiting room, and fired. Patients were at the clinic at the time, but Watts did not know how many because they had cleared out by the time many police arrived. This is just wrong, this man, had no right to kill this doctor, and better yet he probably does not even have a motive as to why he did it. If he was given a misdiagnosis or something, there are other ways to handle it rather than killing the doctor. No life deserves to be taken for any mistake someone makes. What right does any person has to take the life of another?
Mass mother indicted in double child killing
This article is about a Massachusetts woman that has been indicted in the April deaths of her 9 year old daughter and unborn son. She took the life of her daughter by stabbing her and took the life of the unborn child by stabbing herself in the abdomen. This woman must have need some form of therapy to get through the issues with her husband, which may have led to the killings. This is legally and ethically wrong because she didn’t give them a chance to enjoy or live as much life as she did. That is wrong and very unfair.
Suspect in Smart case stalked other girls
This article is about a man that was stalking girls in Salt Lake City who was targeting girls that range in age from 14 to 16 years old. It is sad that Mitchell followed girls on buses and kept track of them but couldn’t get their addresses. Whether incompentent or not, Mitchell knows right from wrong and he knew that soliciting sex from underage girls was wrong. Mitchell forced Smart to marry him after he took her a t knifepoint. Smart had to marry him within hours of her abduction and she was raped daily during her captivitiy. This is wrong…its wrong to hold someone hostage because they fear what the person will do to them.
Army captain pleads guilty to stealing $690,000.
This article is about an Army captain that stole nearly $700,000 from the U.S. government while serving in Iraq. Sentencing is set for March 1 and the captain could get a hefty fine of more than $500,000 for each offense and also he could get jail time. The funds he stole were designated for payment of security contracts as well as for urgent humanitarian relief and reconstruction. This is wrong on all levels of wrong to steal money that could have been used to help some other people in different countries and nations. The captain mailed the money to himself at his family home before he returned from Iraq. He then proceeded to open up bank accounts at several banks depositing an amount in excess of $380,000.

City Council hears proponents of ban on texting while driving
This article is about teenagers that text and drive at the same time. I believe that this should be banned because look at the death rates of how many people have been killed and texting while driving has been involved…the number is shocking. Think of how many lives can be saved if we all were to not text while driving. Tobin said a person who texts while driving is 23 percent more likely to get into an accident than someone who is slightly intoxicated. He said that he used to text while driving but stopped doing so after watching a graphic public service announcement created in Britain on the dangers. I believe this should be banned because many of the people killed are innocent people that are killed by people that have been texting.
Indiana teen charged with murder for brother\'s death
This article is about a family from Indiana, in which the older sibling strangled the younger sibling, killing him. What this teen did was wrong, he strangled his younger brother until he became unconscious and then dragged him into the kitchen, where he proceeded, to strangle him some more to make certain he was dead. Then he got a plastic bag and using electrical tape he wrapped the bag around the boy’s head. Then he drove the body to the city park and dumped it there, doing the exact same thing that intentional killers do. Police said themselves that he showed no empathy or remorse for what he had done. He said a tv show, gave him ideas to become a serial killer, if that’s the type of ideas they want kids to perceive from this show that is wrong and “Dexter” should be banned from television stations. It is wrong to take a life and to take the life of your brother is even worse.
When his parents pulled him out of school two weeks ago for destructive behavior, they should have taken him to be evaluated by a therapist. His dreams of being a killer since he was 9, probably were visible, but what parent would want to think of their son as a killer.
Iran student protests bring out ten of thousands
This article is about the Iran government and how many people feel about it. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but to be in the street chanting “Death to the Dictator”, is just wrong. Everyone makes mistakes, its up to you whether you give a second chance but don’t kill someone for the actions and things they have done, whether he won by fraud or by vote, he won. Protesting is one thing but to be shooting guns in the streets is wrong, suppose their was an innocent bystander in the way of one of those bullets. That innocent person got killed for something that could have been avoided. Its alright to voice your opinion, but their are ways that you should do it.
