Air Force Changing Tattoo Policy

This article deals with the air force dropping their new tattoo policy.  The former policy ban tattoos on the saluting arm and on the hands. After much controversy over the policy the air force decided to drop it and rethink their rules. Puting their lives on the line to protect our freedom, airman should have the right to get a tattoo wherever they want.

On the other hand, being in the air force is a great honor and those who are accepted should look and act the part or an honorable airman. If the air force wants to project a certain image that doesn’t involve tattoos then they should be able to have a policy that restricts airman from the unwanted tattoos.
