At This School, It’s Marijuana in Every Class
In this article, a college in Michigan’s main curriculum is based on the study of medical marijuana. At Med Grow Cannabis College, they learn “the history, the horticulture and the legal how-to’s of Michigan’s new medical marijuana program”. Due to the economic crisis our country is in right now, they feel that by creating this program they can provide more jobs to help stimulate the economy in the state of Michigan. With the business of medical marijuana growing, some students dont want to be photographed or their names written.
With this being said, I think that with the economic crisis our country is in i think its a good thing to help provide jobs for people. Any comments?

Last night I was actually watching tv and flipping through channels and stopped on a show called Marijuana Inc. and the show did reference quite a few times to the Med Grow Cannabis College in Michigan. I am surprised more than anything that the economic crisis we are in is actually thinking seriously about turning the processes of marijuana(that is still illegal) into jobs. On the show and for the people who know a little about the plant do understand the profits that benefit from growning and selling are quite large. So why is such a profitable business that has been going on for years all the sudden headline news that this could provide jobs? Supply and Demand also play a huge part when it comes to profits and if a state like michigan for example has this school where you can learn how to grow and sell legally, then by selling legally taxes have to be charged on the marijuana which also provides the government and state with profitable money. I’m wondering why just now we are realizing the potential of this plant when it has been around for decades?
I think almost any substance can be abused and that it’s ridiculous that marijuana is illegal when it is much less dangerous when it is abused than when alcohol is. http://stonerdiary.wordpress.com
